Laurent Ben Slimane

Hello, I’m Laurent Ben Slimane from London.

I’m a London-based clinical reflexologist, devoted to assisting individuals in achieving optimal well-being by harnessing the power of reflexology.

Whether you’re looking to improve the health of yourself, your family, or your company, I have the experience and dedication needed to help you achieve your desired results.

why reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the hands, feet, and sometimes the ears, which are believed to correspond to various organs and systems throughout the body.

It is based on the principle that these reflex points are connected to the body’s energy pathways, and by stimulating them, the body’s natural healing processes can be enhanced.

Main Benefits

Reflexology is commonly used for its potential to relieve stress and promote relaxation, which is beneficial for overall wellness. By triggering the parasympathetic nervous system, it can induce a state of deep relaxation and calmness.

Reflexology is often used to help manage various types of pain, including headaches, migraines, neck pain, and lower back pain.

Reflexology can stimulate blood flow, which is crucial for delivering oxygen and nutrients to cells and removing waste products.

Better Sleep

By helping to reduce stress and induce relaxation, reflexology can potentially improve sleep patterns.

Energy Levels

By aligning the function of organ and muscle systems, reflexology could potentially lead to increased energy levels.

and Improved Kidney Function

Reflexology is believed to improve bladder function and reduce urinary tract issues, thereby helping in detoxification and reducing the risk of various conditions caused by a compromised urinary system.

Improved Mood

and Fight Depression

The release of endorphins through reflexology therapy can help improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Improvement in
Nerve Function

As we age, our nerve endings become less sensitive, especially in our extremities. Reflexology has been noted to stimulate over 7,000 different nervous endings in a single session, thereby increasing their function and reactivity.

Helps in
Rehabilitation post Surgery

Reflexology can aid post-operative recovery by enhancing healing, reducing pain, and supporting overall well-being.

Enhances Overall

When the body is in a state of relaxation and stress is reduced, the body can better “tune” itself and maintain a state of balance or homeostasis, leading to improved overall well-being.

& corporate benefits

Companies that provide reflexology or similar wellness initiatives to their employees can potentially see various benefits, which can impact the organization’s productivity, culture, and bottom line

Here are several ways a company might benefit:

  1. Reduced Stress: Regular reflexology sessions can help employees manage stress levels, potentially reducing burnout and boosting morale. This can create a more pleasant working environment and improve productivity.
  2. Improved Productivity: When employees are less stressed and more relaxed, they are generally more capable of focusing on their work, improving the overall productivity of the company.
  3. Reduced Absenteeism: Reflexology is known to potentially boost the immune system and promote overall well-being, which can result in fewer sick days taken by employees.
  4. Improved Employee Morale and Retention: Providing wellness initiatives like reflexology signals to employees that the company cares about their health and well-being. This can enhance job satisfaction, improve company loyalty, and reduce turnover rates.
  5. Healthcare Cost Savings: By potentially preventing or mitigating health issues, reflexology can help reduce healthcare costs in the long run. This is beneficial for companies that offer health insurance or pay a portion of healthcare costs for their employees.
  6. Increased Creativity and Problem Solving: When stress is reduced and well-being is enhanced, employees are often better able to think creatively and solve problems, which can be a significant advantage in many business environments.
  7. Better Work-life Balance: Offering reflexology and similar services can be seen as part of a broader commitment to work-life balance, which is an increasingly important factor for many employees.
  8. Enhanced Corporate Image: Offering such benefits can boost a company’s image, making it more attractive to potential employees and even customers who value organizations that take care of their employees.

I regularly have sessions with Laurent for my PMS symptoms. I am impressed by the improvement in pain, bloating and mood swings. Apart from the knowledge he has, he will make you feel at ease and cared for. I would definitively recommend.
